Reverberation

“ Movement of nature
What do i hear

Close your eyes
Take rest

No distraction
Let your imagination flow

As a soundwave in the environment
Many sounds in a rhythm

As a note in a pattern
The influences of nature

Sound
makes your environment “

Climate change has a major impact on the use of public space in the Netherlands. The summers will be hotter. In addition, migration to the city is also an ongoing process. In short, more and more people increasingly have more desire to seek coolness in the city. The Merwedekanaal in Utrecht is a place where you can. The water quality is excellent, there is a jetty where you can go into the water and there is a bridge from which you can jump into the water. But the jetty is much too small for the growing number of visitors. The transition between land and water is way to large. There must be an opportunity to sit, watch and enter the water.

A place where everything comes together. A place (Location D) where all the sounds will be heard. All locations have their own specific sound.

But does sound make your environment?
We need vision or is only sound the ultimate incentive?
You lie down or you stand, how is your experience with the environment?

As a user, you also have effect on your environment. By movement of the elements there will be played a tone. Also in the evening will light up a LED strip on the side of the element by movement of the wind, so that there will be dance of light in the environment.
A creation of stepping-stones in which two stationary platforms are installed.

A melodious experience from land to water.
